A memorial service was held today in honor of Dale E. Artfitch followed by a pot-luck dinner. Several people spoke, as well as music was played in commemoration. Guests were asked to sign of book of previous members who have volunteered but have also passed on.
A beautiful plaque that will now be illuminated nightly is displayed outside the front of our building reading the words:

In addition to the Finderne Rescue Squad, members of the Finderne Rescue Squad Auxiliary and Finderne Fire Department were also in attendance. Pictures will be posted in the coming days.

The Chocolate Party held at the Finderne First Aid and Rescue Squad on October 22 had a great turnout from the community to raise money for the Rescue Squad. Pictures will be posted soon!
